After we've been bled dry, we'll rock on over to mine, and the 125s will kick off promptly.

Any questions or you don't know where mine is, drop me a text/call on 021 --- ----. :headbang:

Last time it was not even you in the hot seat and you did not want to think about it! Good on you for going back :sunny:

I reckon this is an awesome idea, was thinking about it two days ago when I was on the tram. The thought went something like this: 'MMmm, let's bake a cake. Hmm, wonder when the SMC blood run is going to be, that would be a good time for baked goods'

High five guys, will be there next time for sure!

Sounds good - what was the kick off/meeting time at the blood centre?

I'm not at work on Tues, so I could tag along with someone as I'm not sure where the blood donor centre is...

Bumping this into view... you going to donate real wolf?

Real_Wolf
16th July 2009, 17:17
nah. Also still need a few things done on the bike, painting and getting a footpeg tomorrow though so might be operational in time, depends on how well the wheel actually goes, and how easy it is to fix.

As for the blood, nah, when they stick a needle into my arm theres this valve that cuts off the blood, gives excruciating pain and can't actually get any blood out. Rather not do that again

Phurrball
16th July 2009, 19:10
Bad news :weep:

I called the blood service today...

I announced my underlying health conditions - Q "Why was your thyroid removed?" A "Thyroid cancer".

So I'm not allowed to give blood...probably not ever from what I gathered.

Sad, as the risk is so small as to be theoretical since I've been cancer free for a couple of years now...

I'll still be along to support, I'll be the bikkie boy and run around after the exsanguinated ones!

Deano
16th July 2009, 19:12
