Princes William and Harry are said to be planning a second overseas motorcycle trip, following their ride though South Africa and Lesotho in 2008.
Lets’ hope it doesn’t cost the taxpayer quite so much this time. According to information released by the charity regarding the African trip, the pair raised just £3,000 between them – less than the £3,500 average per person recorded by the other 83 participants.
The amount raised by the pair would only cover a small fraction of the estimated £100,000 bill for six members of the Royal Protection Squad who had to accompany the royal pair round the clock on the ride.
