if i don't turn up it will either mean that i still haven't finished my assignment, or that i totally stuffed up a basic oil change.

My front brakes could do with a fluid change yep... And the rear too, if anyone's brave enough/I find a new bleed nipple.

Hey Stephen will you still be open in the arvo lol? As in 3 or 4pm?

If I'm too late I'll just do the front axle and not worry about the brakes.

Seat + velcro = Great success! Thanks Spotlight.

I don't think you read his post correctly.
He said he's NOT going to still be drunk from the night before!
This doesn't happen often.

Real_Wolf
2nd August 2009, 16:36
yeah.

Last time he ended up puking for half of the fixit. And it rained. The two events may have been unconnected, but they both weren't good.

This fixit was great, got some awesome keepsakes off the XS, wish I'd taken some pictures though

2nd August 2009, 16:53
what frosty means is he had sean harris (?) around doing free suspension work today!

YES assignment finished (but unfortunately a great fixit day missed...!!!)

I even had plans to bring beer (the 4-pack steinies that look like V cans! metrosexuality ftw).

Beer should not come in v cans...they should come in normal 330 or real man 500ml cans, otherwise bottles shall suffice.

I cannot tolerate steinlagers wussifying (yes, I made that word, now its a non made up word) of their beers. First the "edge" beer for those people that want to multitask whilst drinking....there is NO multitasking. Only appreciating the magic of the beer.

If you were to ever bring those cans to a club get together, I would have to cast them into the fires of whence they came, drinking hell.

You have been warned

i suppose i'll have to have them to myself then. i think i can manage to be a multitasking failure to be a real man.

Awesome fixit, mint day.

Lubed my chain and moved my clutch lever over (it was hitting the handlebar as I pulled it in). Also watched stephen change my brake fluid as it was very dirty. Then went back to Andrew's to wash it (sorry Stephen, that bucket was pretty dirty)

My baby is now sparkly clean and running great!

Oh by the way I managed to break my replacement phone at the fixit...love how everyone told me the "golden rules of pocket rockets" after I made the mistake/crashed. ;)

Well I left my chunky nokia phone in my pocket riding to the fixit, luckily I didn't lose it then. Had a go on the pocket rocket and promptly crashed, crushing my phone in the process. Sim and battery probably ok. So now I have two phones that do not work, and one at my parents' place which has a broken volume control button so I can't hear anyone who calls me.

I'm doing so well this week.
