Have been using this as engine oil for some time and have had no issues, as have others I know on various bikes, just after some professional opinion on this if you know more.

I know some swear by the bike specific brands, some say GTX Magnatec
(10/40) is fine, am I doing more harm than good? Just interested in feedback

i would not use modern car oils in a four stroke,
your RMZ has a wet clutch and gearbox which will break down the oil quicker, also Maganatec will have anti friction elements to enhance the flow though the top end, which may have negitive effects on your clutch operation,

i would use a 10w/40 semi synthetic motorcycle oil, i use elf myself but any of the major brands are ok,

ACEA A3/B3 - that's pretty good stuff. All the advertising hype about intelligent molecules just means it contains esters - esters make the best synthetic lubricants, and have an attraction to metals,so good for cold starts, and are very stable at high temps.I can't see anything about friction modifiers for the 10/40,but there is in the 10/30.

Your choice - not others.
