Hi Al
I have been trying to fix my front tyre all morning :(

Whats with the tubeless tyres?
The tyres goes up now but its leaking from around the valve.
If it push on it it stops hissing

Is there anything that can be done or is it easier just to fit a tube?

Bummed as I didnt get onto it sooner in the week
fixed both bikes dripping carbs during the week but I didnt look at my front tyre!

Weather report was for thunder today (but so far so good)
Might come out for a look even if I cant ride.

sorry but Waihi too far for Sunday

Get a new valve from the tyre shop, and stay with tubeless. sum times you get a chinese tyre that just wont behave, but usually there fine. Main thing is to keep a close check on your tyre pressures.

Hi Grant,

Yes I agree with mohawk, stay with tubeless & it sounds as though your valve is the problem.
You can pick up new valves from newmans or xtreme & just unbead the tyre on one side and you should be able to remove the old valve and push the new one through. They can take quite a bit of a pull to get through.

Hi Al
It seem to be leaking from around the valve stem
Not from the valve itself

I get out the soapy water and confirm all tomorrow
