Hi
I have been working on the D2 for my son
It was spilling fuel out of the carb
I took off the carb cleaned everything and adjusted the float a bit

Now it runs for a while but it doesnt rev
If I try to rev it it stalls
I think I must have gone to far with the bending of the float spring and it maybe staving of fuel.
Is there a setting in mm I can use?
any tips ?

Thanks

The fuel tap on these is causes a lot of problems. Either pull it apart and make sure its flowing properly, ot get rid of it completely.

Full throttle it, and if it revs hard then quits completely the float is too low. If it wont rev past a certain point, then the float is too high.

And we have had some of these carbs that just leak off and on no matter what.
To solve this problem on my monster cag I just brought a genuine Dellorto.

Like DB says, the fule taps are crap. When you turn them they shave rubber off the washer inside and it sticks in the needle valve.
