Ok I'm having some unusual problems with my gearbox (assuming that's where the problem lies).
I share the bike with my father who uses it to commute in the week and I get it on the weekend. He hasn't had the same problems with the bike as I've had (so I could just be something I'm doing).
Riding along as fast as a cruising speed as she'll do, around 100km/h +-5 in 6th gear she'll just pop out of gear down into 5th at completely random times. I can usually predict it coming as the bike starts convulsing with the chain slapping, and then it will just change gears with out me moving a muscle.
The other issue is sometimes I shift up into 6th gear and it shifts down into 4th gear and redlines. I've checked to see if I'm not having a brain to foot glitch, because it's happened a few times now.
I'm guessing it's something to do with the gear selector mechanism, but I would like to get some experienced advice before attempting any kind of repair.
