Well I had a look at a few bike magazines and settled on Bike Rider magazine as the one I took out for a subscription.
As I did the subscription I noticed that some lucky bugger who took out or renewed their subscription was going to win a Hyosung 250...good luck to whoever that person was going to be.

:shifty:

So anyway a little while later the phone goes at home and is passed to me. Didn't catch the guys name at first but he said he was from Bike Rider magazine and started asking me questions to confirm my identity.
As he was doing this my mind slowly clicked into gear  and I started thinking is this call really what I think it is about, and with that I was told that yes, I had won a Hyosung 250!

I quickly made a few arrangments and hitched up to Thames to pick up the bike.

The 2nd great part was at the dealership. I was there first (keen aye?) and looked around the stock...yep, that standard 250 there must be like what I am getting.

Hell no! Fergus Maynes from Hyosung NZ turned up and told me that I was getting the 250 R, a real beauty bike, blew me away.

Kevin from Bike Rider magazine continued the hospitality by giving me a bed for the night and the next day I rode home.
Great journey on a lovely bike.

Thanks to everyone at Bike Rider magazine, especially Kevin (Good luck with your bike in the post classics) and Hyosung NZ for stumping up with the prize and going the extra distance with a GT 250 R.

:first::cool:

Get the the pic off your camera onto your desktop and resize them so they are about 300k each, then in this thread click the "reply" button and type some witty reply, then scroll down and click "manage attachments". A popup will appear, now click on the top "browse button" and select the first pic from your desktop, and rinse and repeat for all the pics, then click upload. If you are on dialup go and put a batch of scones on and come back later, or else wait a few minutes to upload. It will tell you when its done, then close that popup, then click "submit reply".

Photos of the Hyosung.

Great bike to throw around the corners, just lacking a bit of power at 250cc.

Very nice. My Son had one exactly like that - same colours exactly.

Yep, great bike for a young fella, but a struggle for me.

Just had a blast up and down the Track a couple of times and it loves those bends.

What are you struggling with? Sounds to me like you are well sorted on it if you are exploring bends that thoroughly.

Too old to be bent over handle bars...at my age looking for a bit of comfort with my riding.

Ah yeah actually I find the same. Big naked bike next I think.
