I have a water pump housing leaking at the tube pressed into the housing. It's just a tiny weep/drip.
I took the cover off, pulled the pipe out and cleaned it up, and reglued it with Loctite 604. It is supposed to be at 75% strength in one hour and then I planned to flush the remaining glue with a jet of water from the garden hose and then refit it.
Any suggestions before I just go ahead and do that? Post cure it some how?
Should I even fit it today at all? Leave to cure some more? Fit it and not run it up to temperature straight away?
TIA
Steve
