A motorcycle instructor was do drunk during a lesson that she fell off her bike three times has been sacked, admitting she made a ‘terrible mistake’.
Sandra Kenyon, 46, was found to have 131 microgrammes of alcohol in 100mm of breath – around four times the legal limit. Police found empty bottles of brandy in her jacket.
Kenyon was sacked by Ridesafe Motorcycle School, of Yorkshire, UK, on the day of the offence. Ridesafe’s Roger Stanley said ''It was a big shock. We have very high standards and I was disgusted with what happened. I didn't know she had a problem, neither did any of the instructors.''
Kenyon has been given an interim driving ban and must return to court for final sentencing.
