Help with cbr600rr

i have a 05 cbr600rr, it has randomly started making a slight knocking noise when engine is on
idle and when riding, dosent effect perforamance, took it to bike shop and mechanic reaconed was something to do with clutch but nothing to worry about, any ideas

I have a 2000 CBR600FX, and I've had an issue like this for ages at low revs. As soon as I give it some gas its goes away. Mine appears to be coming from near the "top" of the engine (sorry, I can point to where it is but don't know the names of the parts).

I've listened to some videos on YouTube and found a similar noise a while ago (might have been a cam chain noise if I remember correctly - trying searching on that and take a listen to see if it is like your noise), and got someone to adjust "things" for me about 5 months ago, but it is still there.

Well beyond my capabilities alas.

OWNER has the same bike as says that as long as it has the correct oil and the valve clearance and cam chain is checked within the last 15,000 km don't worry.
