So Sunday we went out riding the minimotos at our current favorite track. I strapped on some sliders and was doing my best to practice getting them on the deck, riding Blue, my air cooled pos.
Needless to say I low sided at least 3-4 times trying too hard. All good.
But then coming around the sweeping hairpin, as I apply the power (Bahahahahahaha) she slides, grips then weeeeeeeeeee. She high sided me big time. Came down on my still healing shoulder and went for a wee tumble. Thankfully my shoulder is ok. Wish I could say the same about the bike. :(
And we have penciled in a race for Monday at the indoor kart track here in town.
Half way through repairs, fingers crossed she'll be sorted well before Monday.

Yep that happened from the twisting force of the highside.

Repair bill is estimated at $0.
We decommissioned one of our slower ac bikes for parts.

With decent rubber the highsides will be a thing of the past even on the watercooled. Plus they last heaps longer too.

I think it has just had one crash too many. It's flown into bushes, over kerbs, into other bikes, bent the forks, etc etc.

100kgs is not out of the question, but it is up around the max weight limit for most minimotos.
