xt 600 engine build

so have just rebuilt the engine after the fifth gear change and two problems....one is the clutch will not disengage and the second it won,t start!!!

I adjusted the clutch per the book so I have no idea what might be wrong ...the starting problem could be I put the cam in 180 degrees out!...

Any idea,s more than welcome.I have put the engine in the bike so the first thing in the weekend is to re check the timing and drain the oil in preparation for another clutch strip...

hey mate if you get stuck bring it in to me or contact me can sort transport if required. 1 check freeplay on the clutch lever 2 check clutch basket sittin in hub correctly . for your statring issue. 1 check is there fuel in the carb check drain screw at bottom of the carb 2 check for spark 3 check cam timing

Cheers for the offer Pat,found the washer had dropped of the shaft and jammed behind the hubb,and a wire loose from the coil,started third crank after that.......
