Right, I've got a standard compression tester which doesn't include a 10mm adapter. Of course I own a Bandit which uses 10mm plugs. Other problem is that the spark plug holes are well deep.

Anyone know where I can get an adapter in NZ? An old thread on here said Motomail stocked them; doesn't look like it any more but emailed just in case. My local bike shop doesn't either and I've googled until my fingertips bled with no luck.

That led me to the States - this (http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/store/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=GP&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=POW301051) and this (adapter sold separately) (http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/frame.cgi?url=http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/showpart/lookup_frame.php%3Fpart%3D0444-207) are options but don't want to pay freight and hideous import duties.

So please please please can someone please tell me where the hell I can buy one of these little buggers locally?

Ta.

Great idea, but I can't weld, don't know anyone that can and don't have a welder either :( Really wish I could, will learn one day.

Did ask an engineer if he could make me a bit but never got back to me.

Might have to be the ebay option.

Go to a farmer or an engineering shop - easy thing to make.

Yeah might give that a try, there's a couple of engineers near me. Will see what the cheapest option is.

Got a welder, more than happy to nuke it for you, if you fancy a ride down here.

Hey, cheers for that, was talking to my folks last night in the UK and I think I can source one over there for about $10 and get them to post it to me so might do that, as I don't have the parts to make one either. Always chucked old spark plugs out!

Will see how we go.
