2004 GSXR mudguard

Can anyone with a GSXR from around this year tell me how their front brake lines are secured? Are the lines secured together or to the mudguard?

There should be a hole at the back of the front guard where a Plug pushes into, the plug holds the brake line hose from one calliper to the other!
