Have you rung your local Suzuki dealer?

It should cost a hundred bucks. But it wont.

My advice to you, sir, is to pick up one of those old fashioned telephony things and ring 06-356 5319. Ask to be kindly connected with the "Parts Department" and have on hand your chasis number for your bike.

They will tell you exactly what it will cost and even better, how long it will take to get to you.

Simple stuff really....

Ring around (in order of personal recommendation/proximity to palmy)...

Report back with the price if you wouldn't mind, I might be needing a tensioner for that motor myself.

sorry about taking a while to get back to here it hase been a crazy few weeks. it turns out its not the cam chain but all up for a tentioner it may have cost bout $700 for parts and work. i still have no idea what the prob is tho the bike is completely normal at revs from 1k to between 4500-5000 rpm then it gets a loud rattle so im stumped the guys at the shop had no idea either.

Has anyone put a stethoscope (or even a decent sized screwdriver will do the job, just put the nylon end to your ear) over the engine? You can even try it yourself, it will help indicate the location of the rattle.
