Took my 7 for a spin this morning and after about 20 mins riding heard a pop and had fluid come out the right side of the bike. Stopped and found it was oil. There was no oil light so limped home with no more oil and no oil light on. Have stripped the bike down and found that the valve cover gasket has blowen out on one side. Have had an issue with small oil leak in the past so got the bike serviced and asked them to look for the leak. Work done valve clearences, all fluids, new valve cover gasket. Shop said there was oil coming from the cover gasket. On return from the shop found it started leaking again this time from the bolt washers in the cover so replaced them. Also put blankig off plates on the reed valves and new gaskets in the reed valves. Its like the top end is getting pressurized and were the weakest point is it lets go.
The bike was imported from Japan with a few mods on it. All the vacum gear has been taken off hence the block off plates. A set of flat slide carbs have been put on but dont know about any other engine mods. It has a full akrapovic exhaust system. Run a standard air filter system. When the bike is going it goes very well. Almost like the engine is not breathing properly. Is there any other reason apart from stuffed rings why the top end would be pressurizing so much. The bikes uses very little oil and doesnt smoke even under heavy accleration. Any help gratefully accepted.

Sounds like a faulty/blocked crankcase breather, or possibly the hose from it is blocked or pinched off?
