Hi all, bought a 1999 model R1150GS with high-ish kms ( 180 K ).
The clutch seems to have a small amount of travel in the hand lever.
It engages at the start of the hand lever coming in, or the end of it going out.

Not sure if this is normal for one of these bikes of if perhaps something might need attention.

Not slipping at all as far as I can tell.

Thanks

My '93 1150 requires a 7mm gap at the handlebar lever. Then the clutch engauges/disengagues within probably the next 7mm. The original clutch plate on mine made it to 145k, which I believe was very good. I heard that the cops used to get 40 to 60k's!
