According to the movie's star Michael Madsen, Quentin Tarantino's ‘Hell Ride’ officially has the green light. The movie, which will be produced by Tarantino's Band Apart, is loosely being described as a biker flick that centers on three main characters (played by Madsen, motorcycle movie veteran Larry Bishop and Tarantino himself) with "deadly unfinished business among them."

The movie will be a tribute of sorts to "the really bad B-movie motorcycle movies" of the 1970s, but set in the modern era. Hell Ride was written by co-star Bishop, who will also direct.

It's going to be like biker boyz only with more guns and maybe a few vampires. Not fucking psychos, psychos don't explode when sunlight hits them they were fuckin' vampires.

I sure it'll be better than the 2 movies that I wont mention here.
At least Tarantino has some standards in his flicks

depends if the actors can ride a bike or not. All the others I have watched as they rode way worse than me. Made me feel good though.

The scene I watched was the part when the two chicks fight each other using their bikes as weapons. Please tell me the rest of the film does not get much worse than this?

the whole movie is absurd (and actually reminded me of 'The Warriors' as far as the 'gangs' went). The best part is the end sequence......where they face/race off [Sarcasm]. It just gets stupid and looks as bad as the matrix(es).

I own torque lol
as they say on the commentary with the actors and crew, 'if you're taking this seriously, you're watching the wrong movie' :D

Have to agree with Indy here. While I did not like the movie, it was 'enjoyable' to a degree, as long as you don't take it seriously.

Thats one of the bad bits, you didn't see the 200mph chase through New York city in the middle of the day

that centers on three main characters with "deadly unfinished business among them."

I wonder what this could be?

#1: They have to clean out the fridge in the flat?:puke:
#2: They have to clean the flats toilet?
#3: They have to go into combat with the rats infesting the pizza boxes and takeaways containers left in the corner of the lounge!!!!:chase:

The storylines could be endless.

I wonder when John Travolta will appear in this movie?

Quentin Tarantino has announced that he won’t be starring in the film “Hell Ride”, as originally planned.

Saying he has given up acting, Tarantino added “I'm not going to act in it - but I'm going to be involved with it”.

His role – as one of the three deadly bikers – will be re-cast.

Madsen can ride. He's been in a few biker flicks including Charlie Sheen version of Beyond the Law (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103805/)(wich I finally have back aye Quasi? lol) Not sure about the other actors though but as Bob said, Bishop (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0084114/) is a "motorcycle movie veteran" with parts in movies such as The Savage Seven (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063553/), Angel's Unchained (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065401/), Chrome and Hot Leather (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066915/), And probably a few others that were either not big parts (Example: Shanks (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072149/)) or TV series.

I dare say he would not have been in so many and even be writing/co-producing this one if he did not have some interest in riding.

I wouldn't hold your breath that this is going to be much. I've seen a couple of his movies. B grade stuff with flashy fx's.

My favourite 'riding' scene is in "Back Of The Y Masterpiece Television" when New Zealand's Greatest Daredevil Stuntman, Randy Campbell attempts to jump a flaming monkey on his BMX...........brilliant!!!!
