Michelin has issued a recall of 255/35 ZR 20 97Y Michelin Pilot Sport Extra Load tyres.
This decision results from the analysis of customer returns in Europe, which has revealed an anomaly may lead to a rapid loss of air pressure in the tyre. Michelin has decided to exchange all the subject tyres.
For more information, there is a free-phone number:
0800 056 7200
Callers from the Republic of Ireland should dial 01 459 5955
Not sure about the situation in NZ (or elsewhere), so anyone that has a set of these tyres should probably contact their dealer at least to begin with, if not Michelin's local office for more information.
