“Love Speed and Loss”, a documentary about New Zealand motorcycle designer and racer Kim Newcombe – the first New Zealander to win a 500cc World Motorcycle Grand Prix - has been selected to feature at a leading international documentary film festival in Melbourne, Real Life on Film.
This year's festival is presented by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
Newcombe won the Grand Prix in 1973 on a bike he built himself. He tragically died at Silverstone later that year.
