For all Kawasaki Concours (GTR1000), ZZR1100, ZX10(not the R), and a few others. I don't know you guys but I find that changing my oil in a real pain in the arse - it's messy and time consuming (done it again last night). This is the answer: http://www.bergmenengineering.com/Spin-On%20Oil%20Filter%20Adapter%20Kit.shtml

Looks real good and would make things so much easier, should even be able to leave the fairing on. Its quite tempting.

Only available from these guys: http://www.murphskits.com/adap/bergadap.htm

Cars have had spin on filters for over 40 years, but now they are going back to cartridge filters, mainly for disposal problems....and they are no longer messy to do!

Interesting, it's just the way Kawasaki have implemented it is the problem (having the filter cover horizontal rather than vertical).

Installation images (for the Concours) can be found here: http://community.webshots.com/album/487944120UDBIoa/0

I think I prefer the short filter (see images below) for the simple reason of puncturing or the filter getting ripped off. I'm not sure how much different the Concours underside is to the ZZR's but I certainly have some 'battle scars' on the bottom of my fairing and even touched down once. But I guess that it's far enough back that hitting the filter on anything would be unlikely.

Interesting. I had heard that there was a spin on filter made for it. My bike is still under warranty and getting the services done by the dealer, but when that is over, I'll be tempted.
