Steve McQueen's famous motorbike collection is to be auctioned off on 11th November at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. The collection includes the late star's motorcycles and motorcycle clothing - including his Belstaff jacket and padded motorcycle jumpers.

It will also feature motoring memorabilia, including enamel advertising signs, petrol pumps, and old sale brochures.

Toys from “The Hunter” and props from “Tom Horn” will also be auctioned.

Peterson Automotive Museum? From Peterson Publishing? They did most of the good motorcycle and car mags back in the '60's and '70's,good to see they are still doing good works....hope it's not a forced sale.

I'd like to be there, but suspect the bidding might be a little steep for me....
