A man who bought a stolen motorbike in 1967 has confessed his crime to police in Flagstaff, Arizona… and sent a 250 Dollar cheque as compensation!
Police say an anonymous letter accompanied the cheque, which said that the letter writer’s conscious was bothering him. The letter went on to explain that he had mentioned to a friend that he wanted a motorbike, only for the friend to sell him one a short time later, telling him not to question where it came from.
The writer asked that the 250 dollars be used to educate youths "about the virtue of good citizenship."
