Yep,16th october, Monday night 7.30 pm.Its all go at the indoor go kart track on Small rd, Silverdale. Cost is $40 per bike. Be there at 7pm, to get your bikes ready. Everyone is welcome, if your brave enough to have a go on your Pitbike, bring that along too.
Kids/Adults who are just learning, can have a go without the fast guys out there if they want.
Take the Northern Motorway, turn off at the Silverdale exit, go right around the round about (but not back onto the mway), take the first road on your right (Small Rd) and follow it until you see the kart building on your left. If you end up at the Snow Planet, you have gone too far.

Yep! Me and my mate are going with our pittys. Depends on how long the track is open tho? Dont want to pay 40 bucks for only a few hours...

OMG!! An event! And I'm not working!

See you there, any particular set up rules for the pitties Grandma?

If you are brave enough to ride your Pitty on the indoor track then you dont need any special set up. I have seen a guy miss the corner and end up hitting the tyres, going up the wall and then sliding back down, head first. Looked as funny as hell.
He got up...kicked the bike back into life and away he went.

Sorry guys it is really expensive, $40 only covers maybe a couple of hours.
The best way is to share a bike then it only costs $20 each. That is one of the reasons why we havent been going up there.
Pitbikes do have their own time on the track.
We do have a lot of fun though.
It is exceptionally loud and smokey,so if you have spectators they will need ear plugs. Trust me on this one!

What is the reason it wont go, or does it just not go at all. Have you checked the carby, spark plug etc.

Same problems as I had when I went months and months ago. fires up sweet but when you take off and head onto the track it starts shittin out, so must be carby setup. I just havent had the time to retune it. I think it could be running to lean maybe.

It could be that, check your fuel filter and failing that pull your engine apart and check the piston isnt starting to seeze. My 4.2 hp chinker would do that and it turned out to be a piston. Bugger!

You will miss out on all the fun if you dont fix it.

take the carb off and the jet out, spray some engine start through the jet, then blow it out with compressed air, sounds like the jets getting blocked if it's crapping out and you think it's lean.

The first is a 3hp air cooled engine good for round 45km the second is a 6.5hp water cooled engine good for 70km or so

Thats odd for on the footpath? How about on the left of the road like an e-bike? Where would I get one of these 50cc machines? or would it be under 50 so 49cc and 2stroke? That would make more power than my 300W e-bike! :D Please post a link to them?

Ive lost my license for medical reasons so I'm now working around the law as much as I can with my e-bike. But the NZ limit of 300W is a little slow for me. So footpath legal 50cc be ok without a license? Guess if your on the footpath you wouldn't need one huh?

My daughter and I will be keen for the next one... I scored a couple of pitbikes off a mate for 2 boxes of beers and my daughter loves hooning on them.
was wondering if there was a pitbike club where they have actual racing in Auckland??.. We will be keen as to get into this for some fun competition and skill building,
as well as some bonding time for us...
Cheers
