I'm trying to replace the crank oil seal (between the crank case and the clutch/gearbox) on a Honda NSR 250 MC18.
The old oil seal has the spring towards the clutch, but looking in the honda parts manual at nsr-world.com, the oil seal on there looks like it has the spring inside.
Any mechanics or knowledgeable nsr owners out there know what is the right position?
A, and also, I am replacing this oil seal from the clutch area. Is this the correct way? I hope I don't need to take the crank case apart in order to replace the seal. This is my first time working on a motorbike, so I don't know exactly what I'm doing
