Kind of a newbie question, but I'd rather ask than do it wrong.Anybody around has done a coolant change on a Honda NSR250?.

When draining it I couldn't find any drain plug (I have no ideea if there is one or not) so I had to unplug the lowest hoses. I have no idea if I got everything out.

When puting the new one, i did the mistake to put only in the overflow tank (like on cars :D) and I heated up the engine, before realizing that the radiator was empty.

My questions are:
1. which is the proper hose/screw for draining the coolant?
2.What is the proper procedure of filling with coolant?
3. What should be the capacity (2L???)?
4. How to get the air so that all of it get's out?

Cheers!

Centaurus,to drain the system, remove the radiator cap, chose the hose lowest in the system(closest to the ground),drain into a container
To refill, reconnect the hose, poor the new coolant into the system, untill full,to bleed the system, gently squeese a coolant hose with the engine running, you should get bubbles coming out at the radiator cap,
Once the theromstat opens, the level should drop, keep topping up & repeating the procedure untill no more bubbles
Go for a ride & recheck the level(cold so you dont burn yourself)
