I've replaced a timing chain on a gsxr 250 but it was a few years ago and I'm foggy on the details. You will be hard pressed to find a gsxr 250 manual but a bandit 250 and across 250 share the same engine (a bit detuned) and those manuals are easier to find.

That's if it is the GSXR 250, not the GSXR 250 R (different bikes). See http://www.suzukicycles.org/GSX-R-series/GSX-R250.shtml

Try http://www.dethlefsens.dk/besk_mc/suzuki_gsxr250/download/Suzuki_GSX250F_Service_Manual.pdf Its what I use. How much did you score a camchain for? I want to do the same thing soon.

I have a genuine suzuki camchain still in the packet, $130 new, much cheaper from me tho. got it when i pulled the motor for a head gasket and found it had already been done with a DID chain! Im a dumbarse for asuming and not just checking the tension coz it was very near new!
