How green?
Some oils are a little green straight out of the bottle.
But you should not notice any green when changing the oil. (dirty)

If the old oil is (real) green, it could be anti-freeze and that probably means a head or base gasket has blown. (or another gasket maybe as I do not know your bike that well)

anti freeze :S Run your engine, get some of the green oil and put a couple drops on your hot exhaust header, if it bubbles then its got water/anti-freeze in it

i don't know if it would be anti freeze because in my experience (mainly cars) when coolant gets into oil, the oil turns into milky sludge
