Honda said it will temporarily halt production of motorcycles at two plants in Japan, owing to the disruption caused by an earthquake last month to a parts supplier, Nippon Seiki.

Honda’s Hamamatsu plant will suspend operations for two days, while its Kumamoto plant will be off for four days. The suspension will defer the production of about 7,800 motorcycles.
