will a K2 gsxr1000 radiator fit a K2 gsxr600?

as the title says....my mates k2 GSXR600 has a busted radiator...there is a guy on Trade me who has one for a K2 1000..will this fit???

According to Ron Ayers (http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm) the parts numbers are different. Not sure on what the actual differences are though, whether it is solely different cooling capacity or physical size.

wouldn't think a 1k would work, be handy if you could get a k1-k3 600/750 would do the trick.

I am sure you could get a 1k to fit, but really depends if cutting was involved.

i know stock radiators are expensive just priced one up $1000 ex japan

I'd do the eyeball test.If all the plumbing lines up and its just a matter of slightly longer/shorter brackets then Go for it

yea i wasnt sure about a thou fitting on a 600.
