Hey all,

I have a generation 1 B1 rep and its got a banshee 18.5mm carb, blata origami wrist pin bearing, ported engine including cylinder, cases, inlet mani/reed block intake area, modified reed block to open reeds up and , modded exhaust with 10mm cut out of belly to shift powerband, squish at 0.5mm (killer bottom end), i run it on standard pump gas with motul 2t fully synthetic at 25-30:1 and it goes like a bat out of hell front wheel lifting and a weapon of a powerband

Now i'd like to see what figures this puts out on the dyno- do you guys know where in auckland (im in north shore) would be good and cheap to get a small motor like this on the dyno?

Cheers

the record for pocket bike speed is like 60mph (in the 60s)... not so big a? aero has so much effect when your this big in comparison to the bike...

oh and gadgit thats a hell nice bike you've got, whats it like for spares in NZ??? oh and have you got the right colour BZM springs for your clutch? you say its eating them and selecting the right spring type is vital... just on the off chance...

I run the red BZM springs on my chinese c1 clutches and it those 35 bucks cltuches last about 10 tanks of fuel... providing its set with digital calipers.

cheers

Parts no problem there's a polini importer in Auckland and his rep is in Rotorua also all after market parts can be sorced from pocket bike imports in Nagtea... The clutch was rated for engines over 14hp so the springs should be right and there is another GP3 with round the same power no problem... But I think my problem is a bit deeper and Orange has given me a bit of direction in the matter.... a new crank may be on order.. I tryed to use chineese clutchs at one point last season and I only got 1 meeting per clutch but big difference in price $35 vrs $340...

whats your weight? If your anything a bit heavy you need those red springs full stop.

good luck with it anyway that must suck going through those,,,

I'm 96kgs at the mo but it's not the pads surffering it spins the clutch nuts off the end of the crank and shears keys..... no amount of locktite and over toque keeps the nut there. No biggy tho it's just money lol and I'll keep throwing it at it till it's sorted..
