My Suzuki GP125 leaks so is probably due for some fresh oil. How much do I put in? What viscosity? (though I'll probably just get the cheapest stuff I can)

800mls 20-40w.

800mls 20-40w.
Cheers. Off to Supercheap!

How did you find that out anyway?

800mls 20-40w.

WTF?? The GP125 is a 2stroke. The oil will be a straight weight oil like 80w transmission/wet clutch oil. Or if your wanting cheap then just use ATF fluid

From our Genuine Suzuki Workshop manual.

Hate to tell ya Bill...while you can use atf no problem at all (I used to in some of my 2 smokers)...a 20-40w normal motor oil is what bikes of that vintage normally recommended. I'm quite aware of the fact a GP125 is a two stroke.

It also says it on the side of the motor!! Tada!

Coyote, where does it leak from?

leak? my guess is sprocket seal, there is also an o-ring behind the sleeve it runs on that needs replacing. All can easily be done in situ.

My guess would be a split in the engine cases...

My Suzuki GP125 leaks

Fix the bloody leak while you are doing it!
That way you only have to buy one lot of oil.
