Hi there,

I have a smaller front sprocket i want to fit to my TZR250 R 3XV 91.

I have the side fairing and flywheel cover off so I can now get at it.

Now- I don't have the correct size socket, so for the time being, could someone please tell me how I'm supposed to change a front sprocket.

Is it as simple as yanking the nut off and changing it or what? Maybe there's something to do with chain? Maybe it's really hard to put back on?

Any help appreciated!

There are a few different fastening systems.
I dunno what a TZR uses.
If you can see the sprocket and have access it should be fairly self explainatory.
You may want to put it in gear and hold the rear bake on to keep the sprocket from moving, best with a helper and a well supported bike.

How many bikes do you have?!!
