Biiiarch!

Hitcher
12th November 2008, 20:57
236 seconds is pathetic. Aim to knock at least 100 seconds off that time.

Slyer
12th November 2008, 21:01
It's not pathetic for a mortal.
You do better.

Hitcher
12th November 2008, 21:08
These are not particularly flash Minesweeper scores. My best ever (not on this computer) for advanced was 151 seconds. I don't complete if it looks like taking more that 180 seconds.

Bring it on!

Hitcher

A bit rusty, but 203 is still a bit better than 411, or whatever your score was...

PirateJafa
12th November 2008, 21:30
A double post from Hitcher?

I am shocked.

Hitcher
12th November 2008, 21:38
A sub-200. Just getting warmed up here...

Slyer
12th November 2008, 21:44
I think we are all missing the point here... the point is that I beat andrew. :second:

Hitcher
12th November 2008, 21:48
That's the thing about Minesweeper. It can't be truly competitive unless two or more people get to solve the same pattern. Average performance over time, and consistent times better than, say, 200 seconds, aren't as edgy as a real head-to-head.

Clearly I need to practice more...

motorbyclist
12th November 2008, 23:12
oh come on now Boomer, was that post really worth a red rep?

my time wasn't that slow for a guy who is lucky to even finish an expert game :bleh:

bomma
13th November 2008, 09:35
^ wow can't believe how liberally red reps are handed out  dont think ive ever red repped anyone.....maybe once, i remember thinking about red repping but can't remember if i actually did or not<_<

can't we all just........get along?? :grouphug:

motorbyclist
13th November 2008, 12:50
he just enjoys redding me for some unknown reason

and of course whenever i red him back i forget to actually check the "disagree" option and end up greening him

EJK
13th November 2008, 13:18
It's only a friggn red rep. And if Boomer is the one who gave one out, certainly you saw it comming.

Ragingrob

Phurrball

Bastards! All of you!

I Start when you all finish.

Currently doing an application for a protection order without notice.

I am learning family law for the first time AND being assessed 50% on the documents I file tomorrow...which then form the basis of my written and oral arguments on the same matter = no pressure to form a sound foundation...

FaaaAAAArrrrrRRkKKKkkkk!

It's only thermofluids (I think?) - not that hard. ;) Trade you for my control exam on mon?

motorbyclist
13th November 2008, 22:38
thermo is't hard per se, but there is sooo much to cover, sooo many formulae that all look the same but only wor in specific situations, absolutely no useful material like questions with worked answers and the lecturers were shite (peter richards excepted)

seriously, i don't even recognise my notes from r.flay - he made us write so fast you can't absorb what he's saying

oh, and i didn't go to the quizzes and missed a lab:doh:

Phurrball
14th November 2008, 08:15
Will trade y'all for Professional Responsibility and Litigation Practice exam funtimes.

Always amusing making applications to the court [which you've never studied or made before] that could fuck up peoples lives if you get them wrong.

No pressure at all.

Thank fark it's hypothetical ATM.

Yay for exams! The natural laxative...

15th November 2008, 17:39
well i hope you are all finished now, unless you are one of the poor bastards with an exam on the last possible day (monday).. in that case, i know how you feel because that was me last semester. But i am going to rub salt in the wound by saying I finished monday and have been home having fun in the sun ever since

but will be back to work for me on monday, enjoy your sunday all! :wari:

and pray for sunny weather for me to return to auckland tomorrow (because washed my bike today and would like it to remain relatively nice on the return trip)

Hanne
15th November 2008, 21:02
I washed my bike too!
Hmm just remembered i AM one of those with an exam on monday... oops!
Ah well, far more fun to scout out locations for bike photo shoots than do anything like study!

motorbyclist
16th November 2008, 00:34
yep, last exam monday morning

omg my ability to procrastinate this semester has astounded even myself

Phurrball
