Well done! I thought the monastery was a famous enough landmark in Wellington to only show the tips. The restaurant sign was there to help determine the location of the shot.

The kayak reference was from a past life: the Vic uni kayak club practices at Freyberg every Thursday. A hard clue, I admit, but then I thought the monastery and the restaurants would be enough to help out anyway.

The pic was taken with a small tripod and a 2 seconds shutter delay, which is the best way I have found to fight the dark.

OK Team - I'm on the Coast - but alas not the tag. Fark - that was a ride and a half. Hit a maelstrom of wind south of Eke - got blown into the other lane twice, luckily no other mad barastrds out on the road. Severely damaged my nerve and had a very cautious ride over the track and down to P'ram. Where its cold and starting to look like dampness may prevail. However - bring on the tag!!

I mostly (always) use automatic, apart from usually turning off the flash - which I guess forces it to use a long exposure. This time I was lucky with something to put the camera on. Unlike Jiminy, I haven't got a tripod for the other times. And I wouldn't usually use one for a claim, either - too time consuming :)

Hutt Recreation Ground, Bellevue Rd entrance (almost on Laing's Rd - it changes just before it gets to Sacred Heart College).

I went on a bit of a wild goose chase looking for a clever tag that turned out to not really exist as I'd imagined it, so had to resort to this one on my way home, doing my best to keep my camera out of the rain. Like Belmont Hall, there's not much around to give clues, but it's a reasonably distinctive subject, and one that many people pass daily.

BTW - when you're leaving, if you're not familiar with the route, be careful. I just about went over a significant drop that's almost certainly not the correct way out, and had to head off in the wrong direction for a bit before looping back to go home.

Its pretty easy from a mere geographical viewpoint- pleanty of skyline

To get this TAG you MUST get the whole Cell Tower in the shot - and approach carefully so you dont run over any kids (major clue as well as fair warning)

no problems,luckily the spacing of the timber posts had a much wider gap on the right than the left.Was Ava Park Right at end of Wakefield Street the view was right(still very close to the railway) and street view showed a very narrow gap betewween a steel gate and a timber bollard
