So pulled up today and go to park and there's a lovely blue hornet where i've been parking lately (if the owner wants to sell it give me a message!) then I come back later and there's a nice Speed Four with a custom muffler down there parked behind it! Then as I'm putting me gears on some dude pulls up on a Buell... since when do students have money for rides like that (minus the hornet but it's still an awesome bike)

Yea, just thought I'd share that :D

Lecturers?

Metalor

I thought that may have been a possibility... maybe I should slut myself out to them for a new bike!!!

There is definitely the odd lecturer that rides -

Law school has two - an R1 rider and a Guzzi rider...

YEa, I think Marten Hoogerland, the advanced physics lab guy, rides the SV. Some big blue thing anyway!

asians with silly amounts of money who decided to buy a new litrebike rather than the stereotypical evo/supra/fto/skyline?

Is it really wise to post what bikes and thier location during the day on a public forum, when the area being discussed is a hot spot for bike thefts?

You know something we dont? Can guarantee you there are plenty of nice bikes parked in bike bays all over the city with far less security than what these ones have :msn-wink:

I suppose, but given problems had in the past...

AKA 12 bikes a week being stolen...

I know measures have been put in place... but still...

Public forum guys... always remember that.

you know he might have a point, even if we think we have better security than the rest of the city, why tempt fate? i guess it is possible for someone to read something here and then have a go at it. stranger things have happened.

Hi, I'm an arsehole troll called Scouse.

I bring up old shit that isn't relevant in the slightest to this thread simply because I was bullied by the skinny albino and Jewish kids as a child.

Obviously, this has precluded me from being able to contribute to a thread in a valuable and/or useful sense, otherwise people might feel maybe my mother shouldn't have attempted to abort me with a coathanger, when she realised the arsehole who she was carrying within.

However, do not fear world: you can always hope that one day soon I will meet the person who I am being a dick to on the internet, having never met nor talked to before, and then be crushed under a lorry receive my comeuppance.

Crikey mate, need some counselling for that?

I'm actually more impressed that a student knows where the maths/physics building is!!! I'd be even more impressed if you actually undertake one of those courses rather than arts, finance or law:msn-wink::msn-wink:

My admiration would know no bounds if you studied Engineering:bleh:

Hey! I'll have you know its purpose as Maths/Physics is secondary to what it really is there for -- it's the computer science HQ.

That's where all the sexy man-beasts such as myself hang out. Engineering is for Honda riders :bleh:

There are some pretty sweet bikes in the new business carpark too. I've seen an 08 GSXR600 in bleck with a carbon yoshi (SEX!), also a pretty cool olive green Harley Sportster down there.

There are a number of nice bikes around that's for sure. Some people don't study full time, and some people work their arses off over summer etc and spend the money on toys where others would pay off their student loans.

Hi, I'm a Gay troll called PirateJafa.

I am really hoping to run into Gok Wan at one of my usual Gay bars down K road, while he is still in Auckland so he can sodomise me until I bleed cos that is what turns me on.

Careful what you wish for there Jafa?
