In the last month I've made some huge progress, nearly ready to depart, its just unfortunate I'm a couple of months early - sadly it will be the end of May before it's holiday time. I spent the weekend before last shopping for gear and am now the proud owner of a nice set of Dianese leathers and some reasonable boots. (I left all of my gear in Auckland and am still waiting on my helmet - end of April maybe will need to get a cheapy here in the interim. The Bike!!!! finally some more traction, In ...
As the title reads I did manage to survive a whole weekend on the bike! Hubby & me went away sat arvo down to friends in Hamilton (the longest voyage that I have taken so far!) Keeping off the main drag, we left pakuranga & headed towards whitford (boy traffic round auckland is crap at the time of day on a saturday). Then we headed out through Hunua then onto Mercer where we stopped for a late lunch. So far I had only nearlly died four times which isn't too bad cause ive done worse! The ...
Words can not describe how awesome my weekend was. Picked up my bike from the mechanic on Friday afternoon, spent a few hours removing the rear seat pad, rear foot pegs and carving out the fairing to fit around the spark plug cap and new spannys. Took her for a bit of a ride around town, clocked up maybe 50 odd kms. Saturday came the fun. Caught up with imdying and oab, and the three of us went for a blast to Little River. My bike performed pretty much perfectly. ...
Hats off to Drury Rotary. What a ride and a great bunch of people.
Yoshiko Suenaga is a super cute and pretty Japanese girl model who has appeared in many photo books, and at DVDs. Her birthday is 10/12/1990, and her stats are height 147 (58”-4′10”), B75-W55-H78 (30-22-31).
woke up feeling rather sprightly on tuesday morning and thought, I'm ging to go out for lunch. Decided Takaka was lovely this time of year and as my friend would be over there for work I'd met her for lunch. The Takaka hill has always been veiwed as horrible by some Nelsonians due to the many twistie corners and steepnees. I've only driven over twice and the last time was about 8 years ago. To go on a bike, well I thought that was being very brave. Not brave at all......rewarding ...
All the gaskets, seals and bearings have arrived, along with the new conrods. The list of needed parts is getting shorter (yay!). Still needing an ignition system (thinking of RGV250 - VJ21 (is that the 270° firing one?)), fairings (I'd like ZXR250A or ZXR400H1) and chambers (build them myself I think).
I finally got my bike out of the shop....even though I have only been back in Canada for a week or two I was really missing being on a bike. (You sort of get attached to cruising around on a bike a bit everyday once you do it daily for three months.) The weather here is warmer then usual, so today I waited for the sun to come up and take the bite out of the air and then I hit the road. It's so nice to be back on my suzuki savage 650cc after spending three months on the little suzuki GN 250cc....she ...
