Yes it is true, I am one of those women that ring their Moms everyday, 5pm, Mom o'clock, no longer have to see a clock to know it is time for that call. I never used to mind you, just when she got sick, and seeing as I live so far away, it gave me piece of mind to talk to her everyday. It became a comfortable habit, a royal pain in the arse at times and something neither Mom nor me could manage without. How many times did she say to me when I rang at 5:10pm " OOOOO you are late tonight Annie"? or worse, "whos this?" if I rang earlierTen years of almost daily calls, these later ones have become a kind of torture hearing about how horrible she is feeling, and how bad the pain.
