  1. Can anyone tell me why bike shops only open for half a day on Sunday?

I have never worked this one out. I did ask in a motorbike shop once and the reply was "we don't make enough money on a sunday to break even". Surely more people are around to buy accessories and trial bikes on a sunday than on a week day? Just never made sense, you don't see harvey norman...

Genie became the proud owner of an 'L' plate today. It is attached to my little Ninja 250. Here's how my day went....woke up at 2.00am to hear the rain pouring down. Didn't much care, this is Nelson the sun will come out. Went back to sleep and awoke at 6.30am to find it's still raining....

  7. Buy the best bike; in best condition

I am surprised at the number of people that seem to shell out good money for crap bikes, compared to those that won't pay that bit more for bikes that are in better condition and consequently cost a bit more.- Ignorant tightarses?? 10. Police breath testing

The call went out at what seemed like 6am Sunday morning at the March hare rally (just gone) that the police were stopping ALL riders leaving the venue, and breath testing them.
