A custom made aluminum super size tool box is fitted as you can see in the photos.
It bolts on the left-hand rear of the bike.
No cutting, welding or grinding was required to fit it.
All the original parts removed to fit the new tool box are included and can simply be bolted back on if required.
I have done approx 3000km road riding on it and in that time it has used oil at the rate of 250ml per 1000kms.
I brought a new suzuki piston, rings, gudgeon and gaskets to put in it but it just doesn't use enough oil to make it worth putting them in.
The new parts (which from memory cost about $400) are included in the sale.
The engine was recently fitted with a new cam chain and manual cam chain tensioner.
It has just had the valve clearances adjusted.
Tyres are getting down maybe 1/2 to 2/3 worn.
Chain and sprockets are fine with no chain adjustment required in the last 3000KM
brake pads are fine.
It is good on fuel getting about 25 to 26 kms per litre.
It has an approx 16l tank so fuel range is excellent at about 400kms.
It has a comfortable seat and a low seat height.
The ride height is adjustable on this model. (uses same method as DR650)
The bike is all ready to ride, it is well maintained and I use it regularly.
