A brilliant little learner bike! I bought this at the start of the year as a non-runner and have been fixing it up ever since. Here's a list of items/work done to the bike:
New Ignition Barrel
New Indicators
New Levers
New Mirrors
Renthal Aftermarket Handlebars
Plastidip Paint Job (can be peeled off)
New Fuel cap
New Battery
Coolant flushed
Oil changed
Replaced faulty CDI with one from '03 VTR
New Fuel Line
New Instrument Cluster
New Air Filter
New Pirelli Sport Demon Tyre (front)
As of today (18/05/2015) it has a brand new VTNZ WOF and 3 Months Registration.
Now the negatives;
- Paint job isn't brilliant (plasti dip, so can be removed easily)
- Some cosmetic marks (scuffs, scrapes on frame and exhaust)
- Tachometer non-functioning (due to CDI being from an older model)
If you can look past those few things then you have a fantastic and unique looking bike, built in Japan so has that 'Honda reliability'. Very low K's on this bike!! However it will go up as I ride it around.
Bike has no money owing on it, and is not reported stolen!
