Yamaha XV 250. Have owned since Feb 2015. The bike had 28,880k when I bought it. It has always run well and been used for long rides mostly.
I have never had any problems with it and it runs as well now as when I bought it. I cannot see any indications of it ever having been dropped apart from a couple of minor scratches on one exhaust (not noticeable.

I have raised the gearing from 16/45 to 16/40. This has made it smoother at highway speeds yet still has good top gear pulling power from around 75kph.

The wof and rego are both current and will be renewed when sold.

My records for maintainance.
Purchased 11 Feb 2015,

Trialed K & N air filter, no problems but went back to a new OEM foam filter for winter riding.
31,400k Fitted new Shinko rear tyre .

36,600k Oil/plugs changed prior to the 1,000k ride.
39,000k Front brake pads changed.
42,000k 8th March 16, New Front tyre, Pirelli City Demon & tube.
43,880K 11 June 16, New rear Pirelli City Demon and tube.

I did a 1 day 1,000k ride last Nov and finished in better shape than I thought I would have been.

Will post up better photos shortly when the rain eases up. Meantime, you can read about the sort of riding the bike has been subjected to on the Waikato Rides thread. Most photos are of the sights on the ride rather than the bike.

Already have two packets of chips in the cupboard and $10 in my wallet so the standard base line KB offer has already been passed. I would consider a light car trailer as part of a deal.

Nothing hi-tech, just a basic 250 cruiser that will keep going.
