Expression of interest at this stage 2010 Yamaha Scorpio tourer/sport. Speed lovers

Up for sale is the beast of a bike, Yamaha SX4 - Scorpio 225. Comes in racer red with decals taken off to provide optimum aerodynamics at the same time as achieving a minimalistic aesthetic. I have checked with NZTA and it still meets the LAMS requirements even with the removed stickers and racing red paint job. Im thinking of selling as this bike has too much power for me. I may downgrade to a GN250 if anyone is selling?

I have just put 3 months rego on it. It was serviced at yamaha on Barrys point road two weeks ago on the 09/07/2014. along with two Michelin M45 tyres on it. It has also just had new light bulbs, regulator and stator put in. It also has been regularly serviced before that at red baron. The speedometer has a crack in the side plastics.

Note that the stickers on the sides were pulled out by a decal peeling expert.

Did I mention the rear mounted L plate has been removed? A lot of work has gone into this by Yamaha. She runs like a dream now.

Price is indicative off all the work put in. I will be realistic. It's a superbike and is something unique so make me cash offers plus chips.

    Cheers

Too powerful? Hmmm... I was kinda feeling lack of power on my bike. Would you consider swap?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

You want chips for that? Overpriced.

I'm so awesome I could buy three for less than that kind of food.

A lack of power on your bike?! I would suggest trying something with an easier learning curve then the scorpio. Just remember that this is 0.225L of raw power.

When did the Scorpio start being classed as a 'tourer' ?

Last time I looked they were an adequate commuter.

The beast has too much power for me as it is if I changed the power band it would be a death trap.
