    2008 Honda CBR1000RR

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...?id=1124257730

    From trademe :

    Registration expires 01/08/2016
    WOF expires 02/02/2017
Last serviced at 26xxx kms, including brand new OEM chain tensioner and OEM fork and dust seals (both sides)
Please note KMs will go up as I ride it to work most days.
Up for sale is my 08 Fireblade, excellent mechanical condition. Cosmetically not perfect but certainly doesn't look rough.
    Mods are :
-Black anodised adjustable clutch and brake levers
    -Tail tidy
    -Integrated tail light
    -Rear cowl
Bridgestone S20 with plenty of tread on the front, Metzler Racetec with minimal tread on the rear (if it goes for the asking price I'll put a new rear on but don't mind lowering a bit if you want to sort your own).
Also comes with a bunch of spares as pictured - side fairings with hooles for frame sliders, OEM decals, damaged tail and top fairing, repaired tank cover with repair primed, factory taillight and levers, spare inner and intake trims, pillion seat and colour matched silver and black paint, thinner, hardener and clear coat.
This bike is great fun, am tempted to keep it but also am thinking about switching to something slightly less ridiculous on the road - a 1000 is not the most conducive to license retention...
Would consider a swap for SM610 ie or similar plus a bit of cash.
Any questions I will try to answer promptly as possible
    Cheers

Have you seen how much they tighten when you actually sit on the bike? Got home after a ride once and the bikes chain was resting on the center stand, now that needed tightening....but I bought a new one.

Love this model CBR... pity is I have no need for such a bike anymore.

    Chain tension is within spec

I really enjoy riding it - not going to be too cut up about it if it ends up not selling... I will just continue to work on my self control

    Tempting.

    Hmm.
To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, and whose philosophy consists in holding humanity in contempt, is like administering medicine to the dead.

    Does he?

If this is still for sale when I've paid the deposit for my house and have a couple more grand spare I'd buy it. Realistically I'm several months off buying a new bike
