These were removed off my 2001 Sprint 955i last week. (16,000 miles on the clock)
I noticed a film of oil on the stanchion after a few rides. After taking it to a mechanic he assessed the forks and noticed pitting in the chrome, which no doubt damaged the seals.
Instead of replacing the dust seals it was recommended that the chrome stanchions either be refurbed or replaced on these as a long-term solution.
The forks are straight and overall condition is good, resprayed at some point and they have cleaned up really well. (See pics)
I have had quotes for a full set of 2nd hand forks which retail for around $650-700.
I can supply more pictures if needed.
Pickup would be preferred, as postage will probably be costly, but I can certainly get a quote if needed.
