In real life the best I have seen is 192.99kph on a good day.

Go to this website and have a look at information on the upcoming sprint event if you want to know how fast your bike goes.

The bullshit stops when the green flag drops!
Oh, And when there is a flash timing system to work out the actual speed and all that.

Thats a good looking guy on the cliffhanger front page.LOL
The late 90s through to 2002 were the grunt road versions that did top 200.
One was recorded doing 136mph stock which is low 210 mark.
There will be bike to bike variations and maybe 50% would be 200+ bikes.
They do have the hp of a good 400 inline 4 4 stroke

I would believe that. It does seem most production engines are just slapped together on a friday arvo!

I had my fzr250 2kr sand blasted and powdercoated, heaps of new gears put on and was gettin ready to sell to a friend. Thought I'd make sure she was running good so took off down SH29 no vehicles around and a concrete median barrier.
Got clocked at 178 by a parked Unmarked Strategic Traffic Unit.
Gutted, rekon she had more in her too speedo read 172 and a change of sprockets would see maybe an extra 5-10 k/hr max.
Got a new 2kr this week with 6,000 k's but have no intention of loosing my remaining 10 demerit points - got let off with 148 so I only had 28 day suspension so I can pay more tax an fines I guess.

I heard of someone (NOT ME ) who had ~178 down a hill. Obviously this was an indicated speed and not GPS verified.

When I had a KR150 I once managed to get the speedo to over 160 - long downhill straight with strong tail wind.

I have seen 174 on the speedo, so factor in the 7% error I would say 145 - 150ish...
