Fine if you plan your rides, but if you just feck about wondering "where that track goes " having that extra range means you can do that instead of having to ride out of your way to gas up then go back. if you have 400 k plus range it just gives another dimension to adventuring/dual sporting.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
i feel some places in kiwi land...there is quite a gap around the back roads to the next servo...and , cant ride the 950 like a nana now can we....i never said i was going to buy the tanks,,,but just investigating the price.....
and yes there is jobs going where i work..you want one..

Said the North Islander.
There will not be fuel for 600km of the Dusty Butt if we do a evening start. Actually there is fuel but we can't get it cause we are too backwards down here for the card at pump etc. Molesworth is 200km min without fuel which is pushing things on the stock DR tank.
I'm with Clint, a 250-300 makes life a whole lot easier.

well i decided to make my own set of saddle bag racks for the 950..
went down to steel supplier and brought $22 worth of 10mm round and 25mm x 3mm flat.
i then sat on my little chair in the shed and looked at the arse of the bike...........man it looks good.....
made a design in me head and started to bend up the steel.
and heres what i came up with..
basic and strong.
just need to paint it now and we are done....
