Just seen this post. Awesome. Sort of explains why I get just as much out of riding my scooter over roads as I used to get from racing everywhere on the big road bikes. For me nowadays, the ride is about taking in the world around me, not what I see in a 10 degree wide zone in front of the bike, or how fast I can get from point A to B.

Couldn't see any spikes on the tires.....how he do that?

There's spikes in the tyres when they pan across at the end (6:42) in the outtakes bit when he's sitting in the snow next to the bike after a dismount and the bikes still standing.

I sometimes wonder what it would be like to be swimming with a full face helmet on, I guess it would not be the most pleasurable (and that is before your boots pull you down)!
