Angry My first post - STOLEN KTM!

Sorry to start off with a post about a stolen bike but hopefully you guys and girls can help me out.

I've just had my KTM250RFS (350 kit) stolen today. It's a road registered motard that I use as my sole mode of transportation.

I parked it outside my workplace as I always do (The Colour Guy, 20 Daly Street, Lower Hutt, Wellington). Parked it at 8.30 am and finished work at 5 pm, walked outside to get on it and go home and low and behold some mother ....ers taken it. They must have chucked it on a truck cause it had a lock on the front disc.

There has been alot of time and money spent on this bike not only by me but friends as well and any information or support would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a few pic's. It's very distinctive because of the XGXracing decals and purple 17" wheels.

P.S. If I find the pricks who took it I'm definately gonna break a few bones and spill some blood! Feel free too suggest some forms of punishment.

    Welcome and condolances

Hi, good to have you here mate. Sorry to hear about the bike, that really is a good looking bike you have there. Yet another type of bike on my list of bikes I'd like oneday. You've clearly put time/effort into that bike.

Best of luck getting it back, and look forward to seeing you on the site and out and about in the future.
    Regards,
    Dave.

Seems to be alot of thievin bastards down that way. Talk to WT he's been trying to orginize a sortof sting/mob justice type operation down there. 'Least half heartedley anyway. Did ya gove pics/rego# and such to the cops? Taken a step here by lettin others know and they will keep an eye out for it. Other than that not sure what you can do except hope the insurance pays out.

    Ouch. That stings.

Will look out for it: hate to think they'll just spray over that excellent paint job- but they prolly will. Bastards. They'll get what they deserve- eventually.

Sorry to hear that mate. I hate those thieving scum more than almost anything. FTR, if anyone does track any of those lowlifes down anytime, I'll be a starter to help have a "little talk" with them. I can bring my own chain and *special* tools.

    Unhappy c*nts

    flang-man, that's arse.
i would guess a bike so easily spotted will leave the local area quickly - so all KBers not in welly need to also be vigilant.
if anyone in auckland spots it and needs some "big bastard backup" - call me on 021-757-187.
i'm not fond of bike theives, and happy to physically express that in the appropriate situation..

Shame. I commiserate with you. It is insured?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I can't believe the quick and positive response. You're obviously a great bunch of people (I should have registered here earlier).

I rang the cops about half an hour after I discovered the bike missing and about half an hour after that I had 3 of them at my door. So a big thanks to them.

    The bike is insured.

I think a vigilante/angry mob is a fucken great idea. The more the merrier and from the responses I've read their's no shortage of fucked off motorcycle owners.

A big thanks to you all and have I hope you have a great ANZAC weekend.
